Week 25

This week in reading we are going to discuss different structures of stories. We are going to be focusing on cause and effect and problem and solution structures. This week in writing we are starting our rough draft for our Author Report. Students should have filled out their pre write in class with the information they found while researching. This week we will start writing the draft and then editing and revising it.

This week in math we are talking about angles and triangles. We are practicing identifying angles and triangles as acute, obtuse, straight, or right. We are also learning about lines, rays, and line segments. We are naming, labeling, and drawing these.

This week in social studies we will be discussing explorers and then talking about the Mormons who settled Utah.

All missing assignments are due THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21st. If you got an email saying it was February 28th, that was a type-o. Sorry! If your student has any missing assignments, they need to be turned in this Friday to receive credit for them.
