Week 34

This week in reading we are continuing to review concepts we have already learned. We will be talking about theme, 1st and 2nd hand accounts, 1st person and 3rd person, text structures, and fix up strategies. We will be taking our final Language Arts test this Friday which will be a review of things we have learned all year long. We are also finishing up the DRA this week. For spelling we are going to be doing 4th Grade Frequently Misspelled Words lists for the next few weeks. This week we will be doing the first list - FMW #1.

This week in writing we are working on putting together a portfolio of all of our writing. We will be making a video of our Porquois Tale and putting together all of the writing we have done on the blog to print out a portfolio of our work. Students who have not yet finished their Porquois Tale will be able to work on this as well this week in class.

This week in math we are continuing our end of the year review. We will be focusing on division, word problems, and patterns this week.

This week in social studies we will be talking about being good citizens and about the government.

Don't forget, our field trip is next week! If you signed up to volunteer we will be contacting you soon to make sure that you are still planning on coming with us.
