5th Grade Feb 19th-Mar 1st

This week in math we are continuing to work on fractions and mixed numbers. We will be learning how to add and subtract mixed numbers this week. Then we will begin learning how to multiply fractions. For writing this week we will be writing our last persuasive essay. We are writing about our favorite video game and what makes it the best. On Monday, we will be taking the DWA. This is where students will go into the computer lab and in one sitting, they will write a persuasive essay. This is a state test that all 5^th grade students must take. Our students have been doing very well with their prompts in My Access so hopefully they will do great on the test on Monday!
