4th Grade Nov 26-30th

We are still working on multiplication this week. We will be learning different ways to multiply numbers and doing lots of practice multiplying. I will be sending home a sheet with strategies for multiplying double-digit numbers so you can help your student with their homework and so that you know what we are doing in class. Also, since this week students only have 5 problems a day for math, students must get all 5 of these problems correct, showing their work, before they can go to recess. They will stay in from recess until they have these 5 problems correct. This will ensure that they get practice doing these problems correctly. In writing we are starting our Persuasive Unit. We will be writing an essay on our favorite holiday this week. Next week we will edit and revise it.

Please make sure that if your student did not get their New Pet or Favorite Holiday papers done during class that they type it in and submit it at www.myaccess.com. Again, their scores in Skyward will be based off of their scores from My Access.
