In math we are finishing our time unit. We are learning
about the different units of time and learning how to find elapsed time. This
is a very good life skill to have! As adults we calculate elapsed time
everyday! In writing we are finishing our Pourquois Tale stories. Students
should be working on their book by now. They have 30 pages to write and
illustrate. If students are not finished by Thursday, they should bring it home
to finish it by Friday. If your student has a lot to do on their book, please
encourage them to bring it home sooner so that they can finish in time. DON’T FORGET our field trip to Camp
Floyd on Tuesday April 16th. The weather is not supposed to be nice,
so please make sure that your student dresses warm and is prepared for the cold
and rain. We will be outside quite a lot.
