In math this week we are learning about multiplication. We
will be doing activities with arrays all week long. In writing we are continuing
our Explanatory unit. Students will be continuing to revise their “How To”
paper today. Tomorrow we will be editing our papers, and on Thursday we will be
publishing. Papers need to be rewritten in their best handwriting or typed.
They should also include a picture that visually helps to explain how to do
their “How To.” Their papers are due on Friday September 28th. That
day we will be doing Author’s Chair and students will share their papers with
the class. I will then make a book out of them for our class. Students should
be able to finish their paper in class this week unless they want to take it
home to type it.
