This week in Math we are working on different
ways to solve multiplication problems. We will be learning how to multiply with
decimals, finding patterns, and using different methods to find products. In
writing we are finishing up our Autobiography unit this week. Students started
drafting their Autobiography on Monday. On Wednesday we will work on revising
our rough draft and on Thursday we will edit it. On Friday students will be
given time to work on publishing their final draft. Students will either need
to type their final draft at home or rewrite their final draft in their best
handwriting in class that day. If you student brings it home to type it, please
make sure that they type it using Times New Roman 12 pt. font. Please make sure
your student prints 2 copies if they type it. Students should have a sheet
titled “Autobiography Project” that tells them what they need to do and turn in
for this project. I will provide students with a folder for their Autobiography
so you don’t need to worry about getting one. I am trying to give students as
much time as possible in class to do their project, but sometimes time just
runs out. Please help your student to finish this project by Monday September
24th.
